The Supreme Court (SC) will accept applications for the 2026 Bar Examinations until March 9, two months after the filing period opened on January 8.

According to the SC, the bar examinations will be chaired by Associate Justice Samuel Gaerlan and will be held on September 6, 9, and 13, 2026.

To qualify for the examinations, applicants must be Filipino citizens, of legal age, and of good moral character.

To apply, they are required to accomplish the online application form through the Barista system, indicate their preferred testing center, and upload the required documents.

In addition, a non-refundable application fee of ₱12,800 must be paid exclusively through the payment channels provided on Barista, the Court said.

After approval, applicants must, within 10 calendar days from receiving notice of approval, submit printed and signed copies of their application forms, along with the original physical copies of their mandatory documentary requirements, to the Office of the Bar Confidant (OBC).

Meanwhile, for applicants with incomplete or deferred documents, the SC said both physical and digital or scanned copies must be submitted to the OBC and uploaded to Barista from June 15 to Oct. 13, 2026.

The 2026 Bar Examinations will be administered nationwide in designated testing centers to be chosen by applicants during the online application process.
